Prague by train
There are 4 important railway stations in Prague. Two are directly in the center and all four are at metro/subway station and therefore well connected to the center or other parts of the city.
Hlavní (Wilsonovo) nádraží (The Main Railway Station, also called Wilson station). The majority of international trains terminate there. The station is situated in the center – just 5 minutes walking to Václavské náměstí (The Wenceslas square). From the lower hall you have a direct entry to C (red) line metro/subway station named “Hlavní nádraží“.
Masarykovo nádraží – (Masaryk Station) is situated also in the center at B (yellow) line metro/subway station named Náměstí Republiky. It takes approximately 5-10 minutes walking to Wenceslas square.
Smíchovské nádraží – (Smíchov Station) is situated in western part of the city at B (yellow) line metro/subway station named Smíchovské nádraží. It takes approximately 7 minutes by metro/subway – direction Černý most – to get to station Mustek (the bottom part of the Wenceslas square).
Nádraží Holešovice - (Holešovice Station) is used by trains on the main Berlin Vienna/Bratislava rout. It is situated in northern part of the city at C (red) line metro station named Nádraží Holešovice. It takes approximately 7 minutes by metro/subway – direction Háje – to get to station Muzeum (upper part of the Wenceslas square).
