Music clubs in Prague center

Prague has more than 50 dancing and music clubs. Clubs differ in type of music, location and of course in quality and security as well. Not all of them can be recommended for tourist.

But in the larger Prague center everybody can find a Music club fulfilling his/her expectations and will spend a great night.

It would be just a pity to spend your evening in the hotel room.

Here is a list of recommended top music and dancing clubs situated in the Prague center.




Duplex Club – Wenceslas square 21,

Popular club with a restaurant and casino, designed as a large glass cube situated at the top of 7 floor building with beautiful views over Wenceslas square and night Prague from the terrace and balcony. It offers two platforms, chill out zones, five bars, great sound, lights and highly trained staff.. Duplex club was awarded with membership of the World Finest Clubs. Even Mick Jagger celebrated his 60th here on July 26, 2003. More information.


Karlovy Lázně Club - Novotného Lávka 5,

The largest disco in the Central Europe, right next to Charles Bridge with five separate music clubs at five floors offering different entertainment ranging from black, disco to techno and relaxing music at the last floor.. More information.


Lávka Club & Bar - Novotného Lávka 1,

Tequila bar with music from the 1960s to present. Situated just few steps from the Charles Bridge. Lávka is the only Prague club with OPEN-AIR DANCE FLOOR interconnected with terrace under the Charles bridge - all the year round. It is just a perfect place to chill out and enjoy unforgettable night view of illuminated both Charles Bridge and Prague castle. More information.


Roxy Dance Club - Dlouhá 33,

It is probably the most famous music club in Prague since 1993, situated close to the Old Town Square. Music played here tends to be heavier than in other clubs in Prague: Drum ‘n’ Bass, Jungle, Minimal, Techno etc. You can meet here both locals and a lot foreigners. The biggest advantage is the large dance floor. More information.


Reduta Jazz Club - Národní Třída 20,

Founded in 1958, Reduta is one of Prague’s oldest and most well-known jazz clubs. this legendary jazz club has hosted the most prominent local jazz musicians and international performers. It offers live performances and jam sessions from traditional jazz to dixieland, jazzrock, soul, and modern jazz, expanding into R&B and rock. It is famous for the ‘Two Presidents’ gig that featured Bill Clinton on the saxophone. More information.


Agharta Jazz Club - Železná 16,

Agharta is a popular jazz club, bar and shop close to the Old Town Square, with a great atmosphere and superb acoustics. The presented music style is fairly broad, covering jazz, blues, funk and swing. More information.


Akord – Jazz, Blues & Rock Club - V Celnici 4,

Jazz club, art gallery, CD store. Live concerts every night. Wheelchair accessible. Just 1 minute from a Metro and tram station “Namesti republiky” or “Masarykovo nadrazi”. More information.


JazzBoat - EVD pier No. 5 under the Čechův bridge,

A cruise through the historical center and outskirts of Prague with leading Czech jazz bands and guests. Usually performing traditional jazz, Latin, standard, mainstream and vocal jazz, swing, and blues. More information.
